Artist Julie Mehretu based the design of the 20th-ever BMW Art Car on the color and form of her painting "Everywhen": alienated photographs, dotted grids, neon spray paint, and her iconic gestures. During the creative process, this was transformed into a three-dimensional representation on the body of the BMW M Hybrid V8.
